Scott Blackburn is the founder and CEO of Thuzi. Founded in 2009, Thuzi specializes in social media monetization solutions for digital, mobile and live events. Thuzi is a FaceBook Preferred Marketing Partner that specializes in live event technology working with large and small events across the globe. Thuzi clients include FedEx, Microsoft, FaceBook, Twitter, UFC, Marriott, NFL, Ruby Tuesday, Gatorade, Tampa Bay Lightning, IMG, Rodan & Fields, International Motorcycle Shows, Acura, AT&T, Audi, Budweiser, Feld Entertainment, The Little League World Series and more. Prior to Thuzi, Scott co-founded and served as President and CEO of CommerceQuest. Scott and his team took CommerceQuest from a Tampa based startup to an industry recognized leader of business process management software and integration solutions with offices around the world. Prior to founding CommerceQuest, Scott worked at Informix as a Global Account Executive. Scott’s team paved new methods of client partnership resulting in the largest software licensing contract in Informix history. Before joining Informix, Scott worked at IBM where he was lead on a dedicated national account team. He has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Kansas.
