Dennis M. Richardson is the President and CEO of the Hillside Family of Agencies. Mr. Richardson came to Hillside in September of 1994 where he is responsible for the overall leadership and administration of one of New York State's largest and its most diversely funded and geographically diverse family and children's services agencies. Services ranging from community-based primary prevention through residential treatment facilities, education, and juvenile justice are offered. Hillside is composed of six affiliated corporations: Hillside Family of Agencies, Hillside Children's Foundation, Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection, Hillside Children's Center, Snell Farm Children's Center, and Stillwater Children's Center. He is a member of the Boards of the Alliance for Children and Families, Frontier Telecommunications, and the Greater Rochester Health Foundation. Mr. Richardson is a frequent speaker at community and professional forums. Prior to coming to Hillside, Mr. Richardson was the Executive Director of the Children's Study Home in Springfield, MA. In addition, Mr. Richardson served as adjunct faculty at the University of Connecticut School of Social Work and has worked at St. Joseph's Children's Services in Brooklyn and at the Catholic Guardian Society of Brooklyn and Queens. He is a graduate of Columbia University School of Social Work.
