Beth Davidson is the State Health Information Technology Coordinator for the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services. Beth began her career with the State of Alaska as a business analyst on the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) Replacement project. Beth's focus quickly changed from the MMIS replacement project to managing IT planning and IT governance for the entire Department. Beth is responsible for all Health Information Technology activities including all activities and funding under HITECH. In addition to these duties she is also responsible for the development and management of Alaska's statewide Health Information Exchange, the Alaska Medicaid EHR Incentive Payment Program, Master Client Index, and Enterprise Strategic Information Technology Framework.
