Jeanne Bellotti is Mathematica Policy Research's Area Leader for employment research, and the project director for the Evaluation of Linking to Employment Activities Pre-release (LEAP) grants, the subject of the presentation. Ms. Bellotti has over 20 years of experience evaluating workforce programs, and over this career has developed expertise in the evaluation of employment, criminal justice, education, and other social programs as well as a range of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. In addition to the evaluation of LEAP, she also currently directs the U.S. Department of Labor's Evaluation of the Jobs and Innovation Accelerator Challenge Grants, a three-year study of a cluster-based program aimed at accelerating economic development in 30 regions across the country; and the Evaluation of Youth CareerConnect, an experimental outcomes and implementation study of a high school and post-secondary career pathways model.
