Kristen Duus is the Chief Information Officer for the Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Oregon Health Authority (OHA). Her role as CIO is to bring innovation and vision to continually improve the health and human service needs of Oregonians. The DHS/OHA Office of Information Services delivers and supports technology for 11,000 agency staff and 20,000 partner staff at 350 locations around Oregon. Kristen came to DHS/OHA from the Salem-Keizer Public Schools, the second largest district in Oregon serving 40,000 students, where she was the Director of Technology. Kristen is a graduate of Oregon State University where she earned her degree in Computer Science, and has worked in the technology industry for 20+ years. Currently, Kristen serves as the President for the Information Solutions Management (ISM) affiliate of the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA).
