Alyssa Brown joined the Maryland Medicaid Program in 2013 and currently serves as Acting Deputy Director of the Planning Administration. In this role, Ms. Brown oversees the evaluation of existing programs and new initiatives being piloted by the Medicaid Program, including Maryland's HealthChoice program, the Chronic Health Homes, and the state's recent Behavioral Health Integration efforts, as well as other evaluations requested by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and the Maryland General Assembly. Ms. Brown received her Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
