Ruthie started her career as an eligibility worker determining eligibility for food stamps, AFDC and Medicaid. After leaving county government, Ruthie worked for a non-for-profit and managed the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Federal Children's Bureau Child Welfare contract and served as a subject matter expert on the ACF Office of Family Assistance (OFA) TANF project. Ruthie has worked for several software companies serving as a human services subject matter expert. Since joining Microsoft, Ruthie serves as the HHS Industry Specialist for Microsoft Consulting Services.
