With 30 years of experience in in healthcare informatics and patient care, as Director of Health Solutions for CGI, Julie is responsible for healthcare business intelligence and analytics strategies, thought leadership and business development across the US. She recently led the first healthcare prescriptive analytics project in Canada to determine the best possible options to improve access, cost and quality of care. As Co-chair of the Predictive Analytics Work Group for APHSA, National Collaborative Analytics Committee, Julie is bringing this experience to the health and human services community. Previously, Julie managed the national implementation of ICD-10 for the Canadian Institute for Health Information and facilitated the implementation in hospitals across Canada. As Group Director for Canada Health Infoway, Julie led the development of national and international standards solutions for Electronic Health Records and clinical solutions. Ms. Richards is a frequent speaker at industry events and has written extensively for industry publications. She has volunteered her time over 20 years as member of community, national and international boards and committees.
