Dr. Michael A. Brooks Jr. began his career at NorthPoint Health and Wellness Center in 2013 shortly after receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. Dr. Brooks earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology at Concordia University, St. Paul in 2008. Following dental school matriculation, Dr. Brooks served on the Dental Professional Management Advisory Council for Delta Dental of Minnesota. In his current role as Dental Clinic Director, his responsibilities include: the department's regulatory compliance; patient safety and satisfaction; financial accountability; and implementing the best practices in oral healthcare; while continually maintaining the cohesiveness of the dental department team. Dr. Brooks has received multiple awards for his unwavering commitment to community engagement and leadership-- most recently, the Outstanding Leadership, Scholastic Performance and Potential for Impact on the profession of Dentistry Award from the American College of Dentists Upper Midwest Section. When Dr. Brooks is not involved in professional or community activities, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife Jessica and two young daughters, Moriah and Malia.
