Bridget Gavaghan partners with nonprofit organizations to develop, strengthen, and implement initiatives designed to yield significant societal benefits. In her role with the National Human Services Assembly, she is working to advance their Reframing Human Services and helped lead their Two-Generation Approach initiatives. Prior to consulting, Bridget led Prevent Child Abuse America's public policy program where she partnered with researchers and early childhood program experts to identify and promote policy solutions to foster healthy childhood experiences. Through this collaborative work, Bridget helped lead several successful efforts, including a multi-year campaign that resulted in the allocation of $1.5 billion in new federal funding to evidence-based early childhood home visitation programs. Previously, Bridget served as director for public policy for United Way of America and directed advocacy communications projects at Sustain, a national nonprofit that was dedicated to environmental and social justice issues.
